Direct (n,γ) measurements on radioactive nuclei can often be challenging. Substantial effort has been devoted to developing indirect techniques and perform short-lived radionuclides of astrophysical interest. A new technique is being explored at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) which enables calculation average neuron capture properties from neutron transmission data. station for transmission, under commissioning during last two years LANSCE. The Device Indirect Capture Experiments Radionuclides (DICER) currently capable carrying out stable cylindrical samples with a diameter as small 1 mm mass low few mg. first year operation indicate that DICER instrument ready its measurement sample (88Zr, t1/2=83.4 days) planned winter 2021. brief description apparatus details latest results will presented.

The NPDGamma collaboration has completed the construction of a pulsed cold neutron beam line on flight path12 at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE). We describe the new beam line and characteristics of the beam. We report results of the moderator brightness and the guide performance measurements. FP12 has the highest pulsed cold neutron intensity for nuclear physics in the world.
